The Forever Wild Project is our campaign to build outdoor enclosures and acquire supplies and other equipment for a greater range of species. With the appropriate enclosures and equipment, CWWH will be able to expand our capabilities in providing the North Central Washington Region with Wildlife Rehabilitation services. The funds raised for The Forever Wild Project will be used to support mammal, avian and herptile species in need of rehabilitation.
Two Townsend's Ground Squirrels from Yakima area, classified as a species of greatest conservation need (SGCN).
Our mission is to be active participants in ecological preservation by rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife and releasing thriving individuals back to their native habitats. Additionally, we are committed to educating the community about the wonders of our native fauna and how to properly coexist with such wildlife.
To educate the greater public about coexisting with the wildlife of Washington State through our constant growing knowledge of natural history and to see our efforts help alleviate the destruction of wildlife populations.
